Frugal Halloween
I call this Halloween "frugal" because I only spent $9 on costumes for all the kids. Henry wore his scout uniform (he was going to be Drew Brees but then changed his mind as he was getting ready), Oliver wore a hand-me-down, Bennett wore the famous lion costume that I made 7 years ago for Joseph and Joseph's costume was his karate uniform plus a ninja mask and nunchucks. I have learned that it really doesn't matter what the kids wear, they've only got the costumes on for about an hour anyway. They ended up with tons of candy (6# total!) and had a great time.

Fall Fun
We are having a beautiful fall this year. Joseph & Henry are loving the weather and the leaves. Almost daily, they ask me to go out and rake and can't wait until they have enough to jump in. Oliver just likes dumping out what they have worked so hard to pick up!

Scout Hike
Thomas has been "Dad of the Year" this year with all of the scouting things that he has been doing. This hike is just one of the MANY activities he has done without too much complaining ;-)

Blogging again....
Homeschooling is more work this year for sure. School is taking up most of the day now and I haven't had time for much else, which explains my lack of blogging.
Bennett is finally sleeping through the night and Oliver is finally interested in potty training and wearing big boy underwear. I am a happy momma!!
We just returned from a trip to Alabama to visit family. 12 hours in the car each way, too many movies watched by the boys, too much candy eaten in the car, plenty of screaming and 6 loads of laundry later I am finally blogging and here are a lot of pictures!!
We decided to take a "touristy" day trip to New Orleans. We have been there so many times to visit family but have never gone to see the sights.
Joseph and Henry with Joseph's fish he caught on his first "early morning on the boat" fishing trip.

Bennett enjoying the pink exersaucer, thanks to his cousin Gianna!
