Mardi Gras Post...a litte late

I had great plans to attempt yet another King Cake this year.  I have tried different recipes in the past, and they never turned out.  Unfortunately, like most of my plans these days, it didn't happen.  Instead I made a quick box cake and we used sprinkles.  I don't think the kids minded, they love cake!
