Good Point!

Something for me to think about...

I liked his "Nature/Nurture" comment. Although it was a bit tongue-in-cheek, there's a lot of truth to that. How else can you explain the large difference in the way our children act when they were raised the same way?

and, no, I don't blame it on my spouses genes;-)

I like that!
It is sad to me that a lot of families choose "things" over having more than 1 child, most of our friends only have 1 at most 2, sad to think that some day they as grandparents they might say "I have 1 grandchild". I wrote a blurp on my blog but ended up deleting thinking that it would probably not sit well with friends and family. I will message it to you. :)

Kurt and I have three children and we couldn't believe the RUDE comments when we told everyone I was pregnant the third time. It's amazing to me that some people think that three is a large family. I do agree that the more kids you have the easier it is. My two older ones Delaney 4, and Spencer 2, play all day together and are great friends. When Delaney is in preschool Spencer is lost and so am I because I have to entertain him :) Great article.

When we found out that we were having a boy the third time some people were so rude saying things like "so I guess you have to try for another one now?" or even worse acting like this was our last chance and we were just going to be "stuck" with three boys. It is kind of fun to say to them "Actually we want a big family!" I always find that grocery store cashiers are the worst about making comments! The funny thing is is that we are moms of THREE kids! It isn't like we each have ten! Since when did three become a lot? I remember as a kid being more jealous of the kids who came from n big families because it seemed like more fun.

I would love another child. I don't know if we can afford more fertility treatments. I don't know if making it hard for me to get pregnant is God's way to say that two is all that you can handle with our very busy schedules. I buy a car seat this week which will all 3 kids to fit in the back seat of my Civic. So is that a sign? But every time Miles hits a milestone, I get very sad. One day, he won't need me to feed him or hold him or bathe him. I know that day is sooner than later. I will miss my baby! I probably wouldn't do well with 5 though! But that doesn't mean others can't! The Vrazels will probably have to purchase the short bus in the next two years!
